Technical Project Manager
Own a client engagement end to end. As the technical project manager on our dedicated AI teams service, you scope the work, assemble the team, and stay accountable for delivery and the client relationship.
About the role
Magnitudeminds builds enterprise AI products. Our dedicated AI teams service gives western startups and scale-ups a senior team that builds production AI products as an extension of their own. These are dedicated AI teams, not generic software engineering teams. The Technical Project Manager is the architect and owner of that engagement.
You are the first person the client meets and the person who stays accountable for the result. You run technical discovery, scope the build, select an engineering manager for execution, and curate the engineers who join the team. You own delivery health, weekly reporting, and the relationship itself.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone with real architecture judgement, calm ownership under deadlines, and genuinely strong communication. You will work with founders and engineering leaders in Silicon Valley and other western markets, so clear written and spoken English is essential.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Run technical discovery with founders, CTOs and engineering leaders to understand the project, stack and goals.
- Translate business goals into a scoped, realistic plan for a dedicated engineering team.
- Act as the primary point of contact and trusted technical decision partner for the client throughout the engagement.
- Hold a clear, honest line on scope, timelines and risk, even when the conversation is hard.
Team Assembly
- Select an engineering manager whose execution strengths match the client stack and project needs.
- Curate the engineer shortlist the client reviews, and guide the client through interviews and selection.
- Shape a team structure that starts clean and can scale up or down as the engagement evolves.
- Onboard the team into the client codebase, standups and communication channels.
Delivery Ownership
- Own delivery health: progress, quality, risk and the weekly delivery report.
- Work with the engineering manager on architecture decisions, sequencing and unblocking.
- Surface problems early with a plan, not late with an excuse.
- Drive renewal and expansion by consistently delivering outcomes the client trusts.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience
- 6+ years delivering software, including time spent client-facing or leading engineering teams.
- Architect-level technical judgement across modern AI, data and backend systems.
- A track record of owning delivery for real projects with real deadlines and stakeholders.
- Genuinely strong written and spoken English, with comfort working with western clients.
Ways of Working

- Comfort assembling and leading teams without relying on formal authority.
- Pragmatic judgement on build-vs-buy, sequencing and time-to-value.
- Comfortable working across time zones with async-first communication.
- Proficient with AI tools day to day, and conversant in core AI concepts such as LLMs, agents and retrieval.
Preferred/Bonus
- Prior experience in a services, consulting or staff-augmentation business.
- A hands-on engineering background before moving into delivery leadership.
- Experience delivering AI, data-platform or enterprise software projects.
- Exposure to client portals, delivery tooling or engagement reporting systems.
