Lead Firedesk implementations with our first customers. You sit between product and customer: onboard AI employees into real agency stacks, make the first agent valuable in week one, and feed everything you learn back into the product.

Contractor · Remote, US-hours overlap4+ years
The role

Firedesk onboards AI employees across the tools an agency already runs and gives the owner one workspace to supervise them. As our founding Forward Deployed Engineer you own implementation for our initial customers across English-speaking markets, end to end: discovery, workflow mapping, agent configuration, go-live, and the first weeks of supervised operation. The promise you personally keep: first agent running day one, first clear win inside the first month.

You are the technical voice closest to the customer, which makes you the product team's best sensor. Gaps you hit become tickets with reproduction steps and proposed fixes; patterns you see across customers become workflow templates in the catalog.

You do not need to know Firedesk on day one, we will teach you the platform in depth. What you do need is real familiarity with AI: how LLMs, agents and integrations behave in practice, and the ability to explain them in plain words to a non-technical agency owner. This is a remote contractor engagement with Magnitudeminds, Inc., customer-facing from week one.

What you own

Customer implementation

Own onboarding for initial customers: discovery, workflow mapping, agent configuration and go-live.

Onboard AI employees across each customer's stack with clean, least-privilege access.

Build and tune the first workflows so the customer sees a concrete win inside the first month.

Run the first weeks of supervised operation: review output, tighten prompts and rules, raise autonomy safely.

Product feedback loop

Turn every implementation gap into a precise ticket: reproduction, impact, proposed fix.

Generalize repeated customer needs into reusable workflow templates.

Write implementation runbooks so the second FDE inherits a playbook, not folklore.

Pre-sales and trust

Join demos and technical evaluations as the credible engineer in the room.

Scope implementations honestly: what ships day one, what takes a month, what we do not do.

Handle security and data questions with clear, truthful answers.

Who we are looking for

Must have

4+ years as a software or solutions engineer, with at least one customer-facing role.

Solid working familiarity with modern AI: LLMs, agents, prompting and retrieval, with some hands-on building experience. Deep Firedesk knowledge is taught on the job.

Strong integration skills: REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and the messy reality of SaaS admin consoles.

Working proficiency in TypeScript or Python. Fluent English; based anywhere with reliable US business-hours overlap.

How you work

Outcome-owned: you measure yourself on the customer's first win, not on tickets closed.

Comfortable being the only engineer in the room, and the most honest one.

AI-native by habit: you use agents daily and hold strong opinions about supervision and reliability.

What we offer

Contractor engagement with Magnitudeminds, Inc.: competitive rate plus incentives tied to customer activation and retention

Founding FDE seat: you define how Firedesk implementations work for everyone hired after you
