We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior AI Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the development of our HVSC (Health Vector Scoring) system and its accompanying AI-powered features. As a Junior AI Engineer, you will collaborate with product teams to improve our AI models, refine data pipelines, and contribute to the overall architecture of our AI systems. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cutting-edge technologies, looking to grow their skills in a hands-on, fast-paced start-up environment.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and optimize AI models and algorithms used in the HVSC system.
- Work on implementing machine learning and deep learning models to enhance the predictive capabilities of our AI-powered products.
- Assist in refining data pipelines, including data collection, preprocessing, and augmentation, ensuring high-quality data for model training and testing.
- Participate in AI system architecture discussions, contributing ideas for improvements and innovations.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI models in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product managers, engineers) to ensure alignment between AI capabilities and business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning technologies, applying relevant advancements to current projects.
- Write clean, maintainable code and assist in documentation to ensure clear project communication and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, algorithms, and statistical techniques.
- Experience or coursework in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with data processing, model training, validation, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying machine learning models is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot AI models and optimize performance.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset, ready to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Bonus: Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
